What Should a Yoga Studio Website Have? A Practical Checklist for Delhi

Most yoga teachers we talk to say the same thing: people find them on Instagram, like the photos, and then never book a class. The missing piece is usually a website that answers the three questions a new student has in the first ten seconds. What do you teach, when is the class, and what does it cost?

If you run a studio in Delhi or teach online, here is what a yoga website actually needs. It is the same list we follow when we build a yoga website for a client.

1. A timetable that a phone can read

Most students open your site on a phone, standing in a queue or sitting on a metro. A timetable saved as an image is hard to read there. Put batches in plain text, with the day, time, level and mode (studio or online). When a batch changes, you should be able to edit one line yourself, not wait for a developer.

2. One clear page for each course

A 200-hour teacher training, a prenatal class and a kids’ batch are three different customers. Give each its own page with dates, fees, what is covered and who it is for. A single crowded “Courses” page makes everyone scroll and most people leave. Separate pages also help Google understand what you offer, so a search like “yoga teacher training in Delhi” has something specific to show.

3. Your teachers, in your own words

People choose a yoga teacher the way they choose a doctor: they want to trust the person. Write a short, honest profile with your training, your style and how long you have been teaching. Use real photos, not stock images of someone in a sunset pose.

4. Genuine reviews, only genuine ones

Real student feedback helps more than any slogan. Ask a few regular students for two lines and permission to use their first name. Do not invent testimonials. Visitors can usually tell, and it can hurt you later.

5. A one-tap way to ask a question

Many people will not fill a form with five fields. A WhatsApp button and a call button, placed near the timetable and the fees, get more real enquiries. Keep the pre-filled message simple, like “Hi, I want to know about the morning batch.”

6. Your location and online classes

Add your studio address with a Google Map, and say clearly if you also teach online. If you are hoping to show up for searches like “yoga classes near me”, your Google Business Profile matters as much as the website, and the two should carry the same name, address and phone number.

7. Speed and mobile layout

Big photo galleries are the usual reason a yoga site loads slowly. Compress images, load them as they are needed and test the site on a normal mobile connection, not just office wifi.

How much should this cost?

It depends on the number of pages, whether you need online booking or payment, and whether the site is in one language or two. We explain what moves the price in our guide to website design cost in Delhi. A single-teacher site and an institute with several courses are very different projects.

Where to start

Start with the timetable, the course pages and a WhatsApp button. You can add a gallery, a blog and online payments later. If you want help planning it, see our yoga website design page or read about how we work as a website designing company in Delhi. You can also message us with what you teach and we will suggest a simple structure.
